Adjusting the piping to the exhaust air volume of the new melt tank, optimizing flow behavior and filter discharge
Implementation
- Redesign of the exhaust air duct with a primary focus on preventing dust deposition
- Adjustment of the feed points for hydrated lime and urea
- Use of slide valves instead of dampers
- New raw gas and fresh air dampers, including electric actuators
- Conversion of the filter discharge system to a significantly larger, specially designed rotary valve
- Retrofitting of a dust measurement system for filter rupture detection
- Mechanical modifications, including insulation, performed by a specialized contractor; electrical modifications
- Commissioning, PLC control program, HMI interface
